A press conference for "THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE WAR OF THE ROHIRRIM," the first original feature-length animated film in the "Lord of the Rings" series, was held on June 11th (local time) at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, an animation film festival currently being held in France. The press conference unveiled world-first footage and three stills featuring the main character, Princess Hera, and other characters.

 The film is directed by Kenji Kamiyama, known for the "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" series, and will be released nationwide in December.

This is an original story that expands on the description of Helm, the most powerful king of Rohan, which is part of J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy novel "The Lord of the Rings Supplementary Edition."

The story is set 183 years before "The Lord of the Rings."

"Mononoke Karakasa" movie reveals colorful preview cuts

It will feature a completely new episode set in the Ooku, and will be directed by Nakamura Kenji, who also directed the TV anime version. The scene cuts are all beautiful yet somehow ominous, including the tense expression on the medicine seller's face as he confronts the Mononoke, the sky of the Ooku painted with bold colors and detailed art, rain pouring into a well, a colorful great hall, and a doll whose eyes have been infected by a monster. Scenes of Saburomaru, played by Kaji Yuki, and Hiraki, played by Fukuyama Jun, were also shown for the first time. "Mononoke Karakasa" will be released nationwide on July 26th.

"Jujutsu Kaisen Cafe 2024 Kaigyoku Gyokusetsu" opens for a limited time
